FLYING LION is a trio founded and led by Andrzej Święs who is also the author of the music. He invited two outstanding musicians to cooperate: Rafał Sarnecki on guitar and Paweł Dobrowolski on drums.
The music is performed by Andrzej on a bass guitar with the sound often changed by the use of guitar effects, which adds sonoristic multi-color.
Ten different compositions recorded for the upcoming album combine many musical styles, from ad libitum forms through free improvised moments, to tunes with specific rhythmic and harmonic structures. Excellent improvisations and interactions between the musicians take the listener on an extraordinary journey.
